Junior Tennis
Our junior tennis section is a key part of our club at Sandford Road. Children can enjoy tennis from age 2 upwards!
Becoming a junior member gives you lots of things- free junior club nights during term time (link here pls to Junior club night page), junior ladder, Club championships and free pool and table tennis in the Pavilion.
We also have a number of junior members that compete for BLTSC in Aegon Boys & Girls matches.
Group coaching sessions are cheaper for Junior tennis members too!
Join the REBOlution!!! (link to REBO) Our new practice wall is perfect for junior practice and warm up. It’s not on an existing court, it’s enclosed so practice is always possible!
BLTSC recognise the importance of coaching as the path to learning the game. Whatever a child’s goals are- to be the next Andy Murray or to learn to play simply for fun, we work with our coaches to prioritise junior court space at all times. Our two newest clay courts (11&12) are most used by our junior players!
We have enjoyed a number of junior tennis successes: BLTSC junior players going on to win County titles and represent Kent nationally. Last year one of our players made the girls doubles at Wimbledon!
As part of our ongoing commitment to support and develop junior tennis talent, BLTSC fund weekly Junior Performance Squads (link here to BLTSC Junior Performance Squads) for Red, Orange and Green players.
Annual membership starts from as little as £50 for 10&U age group, come and join the fun!
