Congratulations to everybody that competed in BLTC’s 2016 Handicap events!

Saturday saw our 2016 tournament conclude with finals played both outside and indoors. There are lots of photos on our Facebook Group page (Bromley Lawn Tennis and Squash Club), so if you haven’t already joined, request to join and have a look!

Our Handicap Finals start at 3pm this Saturday.  This will be followed by a BBQ at 6.30pm – £5 for food and a glass of Pimms!  Why not come and join us and support our players, enjoy the food and stay to watch England win their first match!

Finals Day is fast approaching. Play will start from 12 noon with Vets and Juniors followed by Men’s and Ladies singles at 2pm.  Afternoon tea will be available from 3.30pm and the bar will be open all dayCome and support all our finalists and enjoy watching some great tennis in the sunshine!

The club’s Open Finals Day will revert back to the third week in July this year so will be held on Saturday 21st July.

The Club’s Finals Day is fast approaching and below are details of the day:-

Ø  1pm – Play will begin at 1pm with vets and junior matches.  Men’s and Ladies singles from 2pm.

Ø  3.00pm onwards – Afternoon teas – any donations of cakes would be greatly appreciated.

Ø  7pm onwards – BBQ served. Tickets are still available for the BBQ from Clare Milcoy 07989 682769.  £10 Adults/£25 Family

Ø  8pm – Presentation of trophies in the evening – Following end of play, there will be a presentation of trophies for both the Handicap and Open winners. 

Ø  The bar will be open all day! – Jug of Pimms £13.50/Pitchers of Beer £10.00 (4 pints)/Pink Fizz £2.50 per glass

Ø We are still looking for any volunteers to help. If you are able to help on the day/evening please contact Clare on clarejones30@hotmail.com.
