The club’s Open Finals Day will revert back to the third week in July this year so will be held on Saturday 21st July.
INDOOR COURT WINTER BOOKINGS
Block bookings have now started. We do still have availability for the 6pm and 9pm slots Monday to Thursday and from 7.30pm onwards on a Friday. For more details, please contact the office.
GRADE 4 RANKING TOURNAMENT – MON 22ND AUGUST TO SAT 27TH AUGUST
This was a fantastic event. A big thank you to Jason for organising and to all the volunteers who ran the very popular tuck shop throughout the week! We will definitely look to run a similar event next year
CLUB OPEN FINALS DAY – SATURDAY 9TH JULY
The Club’s Finals Day is fast approaching and below are details of the day:-
Ø 1pm – Play will begin at 1pm with vets and junior matches. Men’s and Ladies singles from 2pm.
Ø 3.00pm onwards – Afternoon teas – any donations of cakes would be greatly appreciated.
Ø 7pm onwards – BBQ served. Tickets are still available for the BBQ from Clare Milcoy 07989 682769. £10 Adults/£25 Family
Ø 8pm – Presentation of trophies in the evening – Following end of play, there will be a presentation of trophies for both the Handicap and Open winners.
Ø The bar will be open all day! – Jug of Pimms £13.50/Pitchers of Beer £10.00 (4 pints)/Pink Fizz £2.50 per glass

HANDICAP FINALS DAY & CLUB OPEN DAY – SUNDAY 17TH JUNE
The finals are fast approaching and it would be great to see support for all our finalists. Proceedings start at 2pm and the bar will be open serving Pimms. There will be a BBQ from 5pm onwards. We are also holding an Open Day at the club (10am – 4pm) so if you have any friends wanting to join a club, please bring them along. Special discounts will be available on the day.
Fun American Tournament – Monday 30th May
There will be a Fun American tournament (doubles format) on Monday 30th May.
The tournament will start at 1.30pm (prompt) and finish around 5pm. It is £2 per player and the signup sheet is now up in the foyer of the clubhouse. Places will be limited so please put your name down as soon as possible to avoid disappointment!

From Monday May 8th booking for floodlit courts will change…
During the summer months floodlit courts can be booked from 8.30-10pm, altering the booking slots this way is to avoid members having to vacate courts during summer evenings whilst still light and still allow a useful time slot of 90 minutes under lights.
As we head into Tournament time and Summer matches, evening court use will inevitably be under greater pressure. Would members please note that club matches take priority and members are advised to check the website for fixtures. Aside of these priority is now given on the the top two grass 11&12 for tournament matches. If you’re playing on either of these courts we would ask you to complete the current game then make way for those playing tournament games.

We are holding an Open Day on Saturday 2nd April from 10am-4pm. Please come along with all the family to meet our members and coaches and to see our fantastic facilities. We will be offering special discounts if you join on the day.
