It doesn’t matter whether you’re the next Andy Murray or Johanna Konta,
or a complete novice, why not come along to the Bromley Lawn Tennis &
Squash Club (BLTSC) Open Day?
It’s from 10 till 1 on Sunday 28th February. The club is in
Sandford Road less than ½ a mile from Bromley South Station. The postcode is
BR2 9AN.
Families, non-members, experts and beginners are all welcome.
It’s completely free and fun for all the family. If the weather lets us
down we’ll be on the indoor courts.
What’ll be happening?
There’ll be a number of free activities for all the family
· free coaching for adults and children of all
abilities
· cardio tennis (a tennis-based exercise class which
is great fun for all the family)
· fastest serve
· social play in both tennis and squash
· mini-tennis for the kids
· bouncy castle
We can provide you with rackets and balls. And the bar will be open.
If you decide you want to join the club on that day, there’s a discount
to our usual membership fee.
What facilities does the
club have?
Bromley Lawn Tennis & Squash Club has 12 outdoor tennis courts, 6
of which are floodlit. We also have 2 indoor courts.
For those who prefer squash and racketball we have 3 courts.
Our clubhouse has been completely refurbished in the last 2 years.
There’s free wifi, free pool table and free table tennis.

club
There are loads of different ways to play tennis at Bromley Lawn Tennis
& Squash Club.
For those that are competitive about their game there are over 70
players in our singles box leagues, and 2 box leagues for doubles play. And the
club enters teams in many competitions in Aegon, Kent and North Kent leagues.
For all new members there’s a free weekly coaching session. And for
those that would prefer private or group lessons we have 6 fully qualified
resident tennis coaches.
There are also frequent tournaments – both serious and fun – and social
tennis several times a week.
And, of course, there are barbecues on our balcony.
So
why not come along on Sunday 28th February? We’ve been playing
tennis for over 120 years.
