It’s already a scorcher out there today- and weather forecasters are hinting at 35 degrees- ouch!
The good news is Club night starts at 7pm on tonight and is played on the artificial grass, so the heat of the day will have passed. If it’s still too warm there’s always the bar and balcony for a chilled drink whilst you watch the others exert themselves!
BLTC’s 2016 Finals Day is almost here!!
There are over 10 open finals alongside junior events that will be contested throughout the afternoon.
The weather is set fair- ish. The bar will be open from midday and afternoon tea will be served from 3pm
There will be an early evening BBQ: tickets are now on sale from the Club Office office- don’t forget to buy in advance!
Full order of play and timings will follow later in the week.
This is one of the highlights of our Club year: please come along, enjoy the tennis with your fellow members and support all our competitors
Well so it seems…. for a bit…. at least… for now….. until the rain comes..
Either way, don’t miss out- grab your plimmies and your racket and come to club night
Every Tuesday 7-9pm

The Club has fallen prey to a crime wave….
Over the last two months, four toilet brushes have vanished from the pavilion, the bulk having gone from the Ladies facilities… Curious…
If you come across anyone leaving the club with a toilet brush on their person- approach with caution as they bristle when challenged….
This Sunday sees our Mixed 1 take on David Lloyd Kings Hill at Sandford Road…
With Hugo unavailable, making his debut for the team is our very own Davor Baretic!
Davor will be playing with Ania and Mike Tuson & Suzy Russell comple the team line up
Is Davor’s footwork is a quick as he says…. Does he transfer his weight effectively…. Are his volleys really that sharp? Well, why not come down, show your support and find out!!
Proceedings starts at 10.30
The team is 100% so far this season, so no pressure Davor …
😉
Did you know BLTSC has a Twitter account?
If you have something interesting to share relating to the Club @BLTSC is where to tweet it!
We plan to add the Twitter feed to the Club website if there is interest
So if you’ve had a good racketball match, nailed a key box league, lasted through Cardio or Metafit session, or maybe you are just chilling in the sunshine on the balcony then tweet it…!
Tell the club what’s going for you at Sandford Road
Share the @BLTSC love
