There are two new Pilates classes running at the Club every Wednesday at 8.25am and 9.30am. These classes are run by Emma Stevens, from The Pilates Remedy. Emma is a Clinical Pilates & Movement Specialist, with a love of sport (particularly tennis and squash!). Classes will focus on improving core strength, functional movement quality, posture and flexibility, to protect against, and help recover from, injury. Classes will be kept relatively small to ensure individual attention. Women and men of all abilities are encouraged to attend. Emma’s specialist areas are back care and hypermobility. She suffers with both, and after years of pain and injuries (and going back and forth to doctors), Emma found the answer: Pilates. And she wants to help others see and feel the benefits and continue doing the sports and activities they love, without pain. Spaces are available in both classes.
