The club
A club to call your own.
We’re a members’ club on Sandford Road, a short walk from Bromley South. With 14 tennis courts (including two indoor), three squash courts and indoor and outdoor pickleball, there’s plenty happening on court for members of all ages. Our clubhouse bar and balcony overlook the tennis courts and are a favourite spot for a drink and a catch-up.
Members are at the heart of everything we do, from coaching and team competition to social games and club events. A volunteer committee runs the club, supported by our office team and coaches.

2 indoor acrylic, 3 artificial grass, 5 clay and 4 outdoor acrylic.
3 Squash Courts
Courts with viewing galleries.
Pickleball
Eight organised sessions a week on indoor and outdoor courts.
Bar & Balcony
Drinks after a game, match evenings and a catch-up overlooking the courts.

Racket stringing - drop-off and collection service.

Plus Bromley South station is just a five-minute walk away.
History
Since 1880. Still playing strong.
1880
Bromley Lawn Tennis Club is founded on land off Sandford Road.
1927
Squash courts are added, and the club becomes Bromley Lawn Tennis & Squash Club.
1968
The first floodlights bring evening play to the outdoor courts.
2004
Indoor tennis courts and a new clubhouse open.
2023
Pickleball joins tennis and squash as the club’s third sport.
2025
Our acrylic courts are repainted, giving members access to pro-style Wimbledon colour courts.
2026
We get floodlights on all of our clay courts, meaning 10/14 of our tennis courts have lights.

Policies
The small print.
Court priority
Team matches take priority on match days. Social sessions take priority in their allotted slots. Otherwise, first come first served via the booking system.
Safeguarding
We take safeguarding seriously — especially for juniors. Our designated officer is contactable via the office. Policy available on request.
Privacy
We store contact information and booking history for the purpose of running the club. We don't share it with third parties. Full policy on request.
